Globalstar from Stratos delivers voice, SMS, Internet, data and voicemail via satellite phone for customers in very remote locations.
Globalstar handheld equipment is lightweight, affordable and easy-to-use. To manage satellite airtime more effectively, Stratos offers prepaid calling on Globalstar phones.
Globalstar’s call clarity is exceptional with very little delay in satellite voice transmission. The Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) patented technology, inherent in the system, resists interference and provides improved voice quality, increased call capacity and enables secure communications.
Globalstar from Stratos is completely integrated with existing fixed and cellular telephone networks. This gives you the flexibility to switch to a conventional cellular telephony mode when you are in local or cellular range or to the Globalstar satellite mode when you’re outside of local or cellular areas.
Globalstar Coverage
Currently, Globalstar coverage extends to 100 countries. Future expansion will cover the Middle East, parts of eastern Africa, China and Hong Kong.
