John M. Mackey
Senior VP and Chief Technology Officer
John Mackey was appointed CTO of Stratos in April 2000. In this capacity, Mr. Mackey plays a pivotal role in driving technology products and offerings across all of Stratos' lines of business.
Mr. Mackey also manages the Stratos Product Engineering Team, a customer-focused group specializing in the development of unique value-added voice and data products. In addition to these operational responsibilities, as a member of the Executive Team of Stratos, Mr. Mackey is an active participant in the various corporate-level functions of the organization, including merger and acquisition activities, strategic planning, and general administration.
Prior to Stratos, Mr. Mackey was Vice President, Technology, at Ultimateast Data Communications (a founding division of Stratos). Mr. Mackey holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) Degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
