Stratos NettedVoice is a groundbreaking new solution for use over Inmarsat satellite services available exclusively from Stratos. Stratos NettedVoice is a unique offering that enables you to talk instantly to pre-defined groups of users with a single button press, regardless of global location or whether the users be land, sea or air based.
Stratos NettedVoice is powered by a Speakerbus system that currently provides netted communications solutions to many sectors including the world’s Financial Community, Motorsport, Broadcasting, Oil & Gas, Government, Security and the Military, all of which require instant, secure and reliable voice communications. Stratos NettedVoice uses technologies ranging from simple analogue voice to leading edge Voice over Internet Protocols (VoIP) providing a flexible solution that is modular and easily deployed over fixed or satellite networks. The Stratos NettedVoice solution has a high level of built in and network resilience. A typical user end point is illustrated.

Stratos NettedVoice can be deployed over many transport mechanisms including Inmarsat services, VSAT networks and Military Satcom. Stratos NettedVoice has been successfully tested over the BGAN service in conjunction with military IP encryption devices.
The Stratos NettedVoice solution also supports 2
wire, 4 wire and 4 wire E&M analogue interfaces,
which permits users on radio systems to be included
in user groups, thus allowing unprecedented
capability for voice communications between groups
of users.
The system requires approx 7.5 kbps of bandwidth (including IP overheads) to provide a high quality voice connection.
